Hacedores de pictografías: algunas reflexiones en torno al arte rupestre en el cercado de Facatativá al occidente de la Sabana de Bogotá. (Artículo preliminar del estado de la investigación).

La historia interpretativa del arte rupestre en Colombia ha puesto a Facatativá como un sitio emblemático de este tipo de evidencia arqueológica, dada la gran cantidad de representaciones pictóricas que posee este lugar. Su estudio, desde los albores de la investigación arqueológica en el país, ha jugado un rol importante sobretodo en la construcción de un conocimiento sobre los antiguos pobladores del altiplano cundiboyacense. El presente artículo busca realizar una aproximación a la historia de las valoraciones de los motivos pictóricos de la región de Facatativá, y de las cuestiones teórico-metodológicas alrededor de éstas (interés suscitado por las pinturas, interpretación, método y técnica) con el fin de mostrar la necesidad de una revaloración sobre el arte rupestre en Colombia, ya que es necesario proyectar como meta en el análisis del «arte prehispánico», herramientas que permitan aproximaciones diversas a la «densidad del tejido social» es decir, a las relaciones involucradas en el saber ancestral materializado en las manifestaciones rupestres.

Pictographs makers: some reflections on the rock art in fencing Facatativá west of the Sabana de Bogotá. (Preliminary article of the state of research).

The interpretive history of the rock art in Colombia has placed to Facatativá as an emblematic place of this type of archaeological evidence given the great quantity of pictorials representations that possesses this place. Its study, since the whiteness of the archaeological investigation in the pair, has played an important role in the construction about knowledge on the old settlers of the Cundinamarca. This paper seeks to carry out an approximation to the history of the appraisals of the pictures motives of Facatativá and of the methodological questions around there(inters stirred up by the paintings, interpretation, method and technique) in order to showing the need of a revaluation of the studies on rock art in Colombia, since is necessary to project as goal in the analysis of the art That they permit diverse approximations to the density of the social weaving that is to say, to the relations involved in the to know ancient materialized in the rock.
